COVID-19 protocols have reared their ugly head into the NFL again. This time the Steelers and Ravens marquee Thanksgiving night game was postponed to Sunday. The time is yet to be determined but don’t expect it to take the Bears vs. Packers game out of primetime.
Chiefs vs. Buccaneers (+3.5)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off of an extremely rough Monday night game against the Los Angeles Rams. This was a difficult game to swallow for many reasons. First, the Buccaneers were 4 point favorites against the Rams. Second, Drew Brees just went down with an injury leaving the Buccaneers a window to win the division. Lastly, Tom Brady has been unable to get his groove against top-tier pass rushers.
Stat of the day: Tampa Bay’s pass defense has allowed a completion on over 70% of pass attempts. The Bucs are able to get a pass rush but their coverages have not been elite. Furthermore, their number two corner Jameel Dean has been heavily targeted by opposing offenses. Patrick Mahomes will have no problem lighting this game up and winning big.
Pick: Chiefs -3.5
Chargers vs. Bills (-5.5)
The Bills are coming off of their bye week in this one giving them extra time to prepare. The Chargers surprisingly did not make the easiest work of the Jets. They allowed the Jets to score a season-high 28 points last week and a cover. The Chargers can score points with ease but can they stop anyone?
The Bills on the other hand have put up 44 points on the Seahawks and 30 on the Cardinals. The Chargers do not provide much resistance to opposing offenses leaving the over extremely tasty.
As if you need any other reason to take the over, each of the 7 games for the Los Angeles Chargers has gone over. Conversely, the Bills have gone over in 8 of their last 10 games.
Pick: Bills -5.5 + Over 52.5
Week 12 NFL Parlay
If a bettor were to parlay these 3 bets they would get really solid odds. Betting on the Chiefs and Chargers to not play defense is a wonderful spot for bettors.
Chiefs -3.5 + Bills -5.5 & over 52.5 would pay out at +595.
Meaning that a $100 bet would profit the bettor $595. Good luck!
