Nerves are starting to creep in as the English Premiere League heads toward the back end of its schedule. Norwich City (-500), Watford (-400) and Burnley (-225) are all sizeable favorites to get sent down to the Championship. However, there is still plenty of time for those teams to make a push up the table.

Norwich City on the rebound
Early in the season, Norwich City looked destined for a swift exit in its first season back in the Premiere League. While still the heaviest favorite to be relegated, Norwich City has shown plenty of fight.
The Canaries fired manager Daniel Farke in November and have seen a major improvement. Dean Smith has taken over and relied on a younger lineup by relying on Brandon Williams, Adam Idah and Josh Sargent. Norwich City, which is 4-5-14, has grabbed 12 points since Farke was let go and now sit in 18th place, one point below Newcastle United.
Norwich City has a tough slate ahead. Following a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace last time out, the Canaries will have to battle with Manchester United and Liverpool.
Newcastle could flounder
Newcastle United scored big in a 3-1 win over Everton earlier this week, but haven’t had that luxury for much of the year. Offensively, the Magpies haven’t been able to finish in the final third, ranking toward the bottom of the league with 24 goals scored.
The Magpies, who are 3-9-10 and +250 to get relegated, have fewer victories than Norwich City and Watford, who are both behind them in the relegation zone. Newcastle stayed ahead of their competitors because they don’t give points away.
The Magpies salvaged nine ties.
Leeds is boom-or-bust
If you love goals, Leeds United plays an exciting brand of soccer. However, the Peacocks aren’t always the ones scoring them. Injuries have flustered Leeds throughout the season and continue to haunt them as it gets deeper into the schedule.
The Peacocks, who are in 15th place with a 5-8-9 record and 27 points, are +650 to get relegated. However, it is not impossible. Leeds’ style leaves them vulnerable to taking big losses.
The Peacocks have conceded 43 goals.
Everton isn’t safe
The Toffees have their share of issues. Everton’s -13 goal differential isn’t awful compared to other teams at the bottom of the table, the Toffees’ results have them only two points clear of the relegation zone.
Everton, which is +400 to be sent down, have more wins than the four teams below them. The Toffees scored 25 goals in 21 games and are more inclined to either win or lose.
Everton, which is 5-4-12, have tied four matches this eason.
